Manila inquiry wants Sulpicio out

Princess of the Stars (sunken vessel)Manila was advised today by investigators to suspend the franchise of Sulpicio Lines, the RoPax operator embroiled in the Princess of the Stars disaster.

The Board of Marine Inquiry found that Sulpicio – whose ship sank on 21 June, costing at least 800 lives – had been negligent for failing to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
